Welcome to the Minangkabau Wikisource!

It is my pleasure to be able to officially welcome you to the Minangkabau Wikisource! As you may know, the wiki was created a few days ago, and I have now imported all the content I could find from the multilingual Wikisource to this wiki.

Congratulations and thank you for all your hard work that has led to this step! Great job to all of you! 🥳

Now, since this is a brand new wiki, there are many things that aren't in place yet, when it comes to what I like to call "infrastructure". It is up to you, the editor community, to create all of that, but I would strongly suggest you start by creating a Village pump page, where you can discuss things and find consensus on different things. For instance, that would be a good place to elect some administrators.

Like I said, I have imported all the content from the multilingual Wikisource, but I have not imported templates that are used within pages. In a day or two, you will be able to see which templates are missing in Istimewa:TemplatNanParalu, and I would suggest you just copy the ones you need from the multilingual Wikisource, but make sure to make any local adaptions that might be necessary for this wiki.

Besides that, I can recommend the Small wiki toolkits starter kit if you need inspiration for where to start. And I know many of you (all of you?) are already very experienced Wikimedians, so I am sure you will be able to figure out what to do.

But in any case, do not be afraid to contact me and ask for help – I don't know how to fix everything, but I'm usually good at finding the people who can.
